Premier Division

Somerset Trojans 3 Robin Hood 2

At the Somerset Cricket Club the home team Somerset Trojans found themselves down 1 – 0 after ten minutes when a shot from Robin Hood’s Drewonde Bascome was spilled over the goal line, four minutes later the score was level when Jahmeiko Harvey-Outerbridge scored. Former Somerset Trojans player Marcelos Thomas restored the visiting Robin Hood lead with a goal in the 42nd minute. The Somerset Trojans reset after the break and drew level for the second time on the game when Trae Harvey scored in the 68th minute and then ten minute later Harvey-Outerbridge drilled a ball from the edge of the box through a maze of players and found the back of the net to give the Somerset Trojans the lead and the three points with a 3 – 2 win.

Corona League

North Village Rams 6 St. David’s 0

In the first Corona League match of the evening the North Village Rams got two goals apiece from Randy Simons and Tillman Darrell as they defeated St. David’s 6 – 0. Dwayne Adams and Steven Coddington scored a goal each.

West End United 3 St. George’s Colts 1

In the nightcap, West End United got goals from Alvin Ford, Matthew Carvelho and Cody Lima as they defeated the St. George’s Colts 3 – 1. Del Tyrell scored the lone goal for the St. George’s Colts.

Wells Extends Bradford City Stay for 1 Year

Bradford City have fought off any potential predators by extending Nahki Wells' deal until next summer.

Like fellow striker Ross Hannah, the Bermudian's present one-year contract had an option for the club to keep him for a further season.

The 21-year-old netted his seventh goal for Bradford City in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Accrington.

Joint chairman Mark Lawn said: "Wells is one of those unusual lads that's actually benefited from not being over-coached.

"He causes problems with his natural speed and ability. I don't think people know what he is going to do next.

"Phil Parkinson is working on parts of his game and he has still got a lot to learn. But you don't want to lose that natural spirit from him."
