Freddy Hall

Title-chasing Southend twice came from behind to defeat Freddy Hall and his relegation-threatened Northampton teammates 5-2 at Sixfields.

John Johnson gave Northampton a 10th-minute lead, forcing the ball home from close range after Southend failed to deal with Ben Tozer's long throw.

David Martin equalized in the 41st minute, volleying home at the far post after Northampton were caught out by Sean Clohessy's cross, but Saido Berahino restored Northampton's advantage two minutes later, beating Glenn Morris from the edge of the box.

Southend dominated the second half, with Hall parrying Liam Dickinson's drive and then saving Elliot Benyon's rebound, but the pressure finally told in the 70th minute when Hall impeded Dickinson in the box and the striker picked himself up to fire home the ensuing spot-kick.

Substitute Bilel Mohsni put Southend in front for the first time in the 82nd minute, heading home Hall's perfect cross. Three minutes later Dickinson grabbed his second with a clinical close-range finish and Mohsni headed home his second in stoppage time from Hall's inswinging corner.

Nahki Wells

Substitute Kevin Ellison scored a stoppage-time equalizer against Nahki Wells and his Bradford City teammates to earn Morecambe a 2-2 draw after a dramatic finale which produced three goals in five minutes.

Defender Marcel Seip had only restored Bradford's lead in the 89th minute when Ellison volleyed home fellow substitute Phil Jevons' left-wing cross in the first minute of injury time for his 12th goal of the season.

Morecambe, who were always dangerous on the break, had initially appeared on course for a point four minutes from time when Andrew Davies turned Laurence Wilson's cross into his own net.

Ricky Ravenhill, who this week joined Bradford on a permanent deal from Notts County following a successful two-month loan deal, had earlier put the home side in front with a superb 20-yard shot on the hour mark after the visitors had failed to clear Davies' cross.

But in the end it was left for Ellison, who spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Bantams before being released by Rotherham, to have the last word.

Corona League and Digicel Premier Division

The four Corona League matches and tonight's Digicel Premier Division match featuring Robin Hood and Southampton Rangers at BAA Field have all been postponed due to the water logged pitch.

All the game will be rescheduled at a later date.
