IslandStats.com
Kris Frick Suspension Reduced

Back on Thursday September 4th 2008 the Bermuda Football Association (BFA) announced that Kris Frick was handed a Five (5) year ban from all international competition and Two (2) year ban from all domestic competition, today the BFA has released the following Press Release.

During its meeting on Wednesday, January 27th, the Executive Council reviewed the suspension that was issued to Frick in 2008 as a result of matters pertaining to his refusal to continue participating with the National Team during the DIGICEL Tournament in Cayman Islands.

The Executive Council were of the opinion that the suspension issued was worthy of consideration and as a result took the decision to grant Frick early reinstatement and considered the suspension as time already served.

In making this decision, the Executive Council wants to make it clear that it does not condone any acts of disrespect toward the National Program or those charged with the responsibility of overseeing the National Program and therefore encourages all players to abide by and conform to the same principles as all others involved in the National Program.

In closing, we wish to advise that Frick, as is the case for any other player has the right to join the National Program should he be selected and wishes to do so.

Reggie Lambe

Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane says he has received loan interest in members of his squad including Lambe since the transfer window ended on Monday. Football League clubs are able to take players on emergency loans from next week.

Keane said: “We’ve had one or two offers after the deadline in terms of for next week, which is something I’m weighing up at the moment.”

The Town manager has previously said that he would be willing to allow the likes of defender Troy Brown and winger Lambe out to gain experience, while the club appears to have a surfeit of midfielders with experienced players such as Alan Quinn rarely involved of late.
