Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates were edged 3 – 2 by the Rome Braves the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
Rome took the lead in the third inning scoring 1 run, but Aberdeen level the match at 1 – 1 when they scored a single run in the 4th.
Aberdeen would then take the lead with a single run in the bottom of the 7th, in the top of the 8th Rome scored twice to take a 3 – 2 lead, and then they would shutout Aberdeen in the next two innings.
Hall would go 1 for 3 from plate, he would score the Aberdeen run in the 4th inning, after a single, he stole second and was brought home on a Maverick Handley double.
