For only the second time this season Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates tasted defeat as they went down 4 – 3 to the Hudson Valley Batters.
Both teams scored a run in the first inning, before going scoreless over the next five innings. Aberdeen would then add a single run in the 6th and 7th innings, to take a 3 – 1 lead, but in the bottom of the 8th inning, the Hudson Valley Batters would score twice to draw the game level.
The game would need an extra inning to get a winner as the Hudson Valley Batters would get that all-important run.
Hall had 4 at-bats, with 1 strikeout and two walks.
