Some days you win, some days you lose, and some days, you actually get outpitched by Adam Hall and his Baltimore Orioles teammates. That’s what happened, as the Yankees fell to the O’s in Sarasota, 2-1.
Hall entered the game in the top of the 8th Inning to play at Second Base. In the top of the 8th Yankees, DJ LeMahieu was safe at first on a fielding error by second baseman Hall, but the Orioles would get out of the inning without conceding a run.
The Yankees took the lead in the 2nd inning when Inning Gio Urshela homered to center. The Baltimore Orioles were level in the 3rd when Ramon Urías grounded out to shortstop, scoring Chance Sisco, and then in the 5th inning Pat Valaika homered to center.
