Adam Hall’s Baltimore Orioles Preseason struggles got even worse as they are at the bottom of the Pre-Season Standings at 3 & 10 after they went down 5 – 1 to the Detroit Tigers.
Hall was once again not part of the games as the Orioles and the Tigers were deadlocked at 1 – 1 going into the bottom of the 8th, but Detroit got 4 runs and shutout the Orioles in the top of the 9th to claim the win.
Detroit took the lead in the 2nd inning as JaCoby Jones grounded out to second, to score JaCoby Ramos who singles to start the inning.
Baltimore would draw level in the top of the 4th when Ryan Mountcastle scored off a Ramon Urias ground-rule double to deep right.
In the bottom of the 8th, the Tigers got a 3 run homer off the bat of Zack Short, which was followed by a solo home run off the bat of Akil Baddoo.
