Braxton Stowe and his Saint Louis University Baseball teammates fell in the series finale to Dayton 4-2 in 12 innings.
Stowe had four at bats, with a strike out he was left on base 3 times after 3 walks.
Saint Louis scored two runs in the first inning, but they couldn’t bring around another run the remainder of the game. Dayton scored one in the sixth, one in the seventh and two off of a home run in the twelfth.
Centerfielder Corrigan Bartlett went 3-6 on the afternoon, driving in one run. Over the past week, he hit .429 (9-21) in the team’s five games.
Cam Redding also had three hits and drove in one run.
Jackson Wark made the start on the mound for Saint Louis throwing 6.1 innings, allowing one earned run on seven hits and striking out eight.
Drew Reveno pitched in relief of Wark, going 5.2 innings, giving up two runs on five hits and striking out eight Dayton hitters.
