Hall & Canada Junior Nationals Go Down

IslandStats.com
Adam Hall and his Canadian Junior National Teammates resumed play in the Fall Instructional League, as the Houston Astros used a three run eighth inning for a comeback 8 - 7 win.

Clayton Keyes’ three run homer gave the Juniors a 3-0 lead after one. Dondrae Bremner walked with one out before Noah Naylor doubled with two out to put runners on second and third for Keyes who clobbered a fastball.

After two scoreless innings, the Astros got to JNT starter William Sierra in the third as they used three hits, including two doubles, and a couple of walks to plate four runs. A lead off double and single brought in the first run of the inning before a walk and fielder’s choice brought in another. Another walk followed by a two run double gave the Astros a one run lead.

The juniors retook the lead in the fourth as Bremner and Hall both drew walks before Noah Naylor came up with a triple, his second extra base hit of the game, to score two. After a walk to Clayton Keyes, Michael Stovman came up with an RBI single to give the juniors a two run lead before Jason Willow’s sac-fly brought in Keyes with the fourth run of the inning.

After a run scored on an RBI single in the fifth, the Astros completed the comeback in the eighth as they used three walks and two hits off reliever Cade Smith to score three and go out in front 8 - 7.
