This summer Adam Hall, had the honour of being chosen to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
While the event allowed Hall to showcase his talents to MLB scouts, the main purpose of the event was to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at Rady Children’s Hospital-SanDiego.
80% of the children who walk through the doors of the hospital will walk out as long-term cancer survivors.
Hall asked people to help him raise a percentage as each player was challenged to raise a minimum of $2,000.00.
Hall was only the third Canadian, and first ever Bermudian, selected to play in this prestigious event and he challenged his family and friends to make a statement by raising well over the goal of $2000.
Hall said in a Social media post, “I need your help”.
Hall later said, “Proud to say that in just 3 days I have raised $2,284.00.”
“A Huge thank you to everyone that donated towards my fundraising campaign so far for Rady Children's Hospital,” concluded Hall.
