YAO Fall Ball League Round Up

The Blue Jays have taken a 3 – 2 lead in the YAO Fall Ball Season Series after recording a 11 – 7 win over Big Red.

Caleb Ingham racked up two RBIs on two hits for BIG RED. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Sam Resnik put together a nice outing. Sam held the Blue Jays hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.
Four relief pitchers finished off the game for the Blue Jays. Liam McCue faced three batters in relief, while Wyatt Woloshyn managed to record five outs to aid the victory.

The lead stayed with the Blue Jays after the first, when they scored four runs on an RBI double by Brett Baumgartner and two singles.

The Blue Jays added four more runs in the top of the second. Wyatt started the inning with a single, scoring Tyler Pougnet.

Two runs in the bottom of the second helped BIG RED close its deficit to 9-2. A two-run home run by Caleb sparked BIG RED's rally. Finally, Keiron Malott pitched a stron two innings, striking out the last batter to stop the rally.The Blue Jays piled on two more runs in the top of the fourth. Noah Simons's single got things going, bringing home Liam McCue.

Four runs in the bottom of the fourth helped BIG RED close its deficit to 11-6. A walk by Fritz Olson, a walk by Aaron White, a walk by Owen, and an RBI single by James Correia fueled BIG RED's comeback.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, BIG RED faced just a 12-8 deficit. A two-run triple by Sam Resnik set off BIG RED rally, but anotther rally fell short when Joshua Blee induced an inning-ending ground out from Downey Alex.
