In YAO Cal Ripken 10-12 year olds League first game of the day saw the Phillies defeat the Marlins 4-2. It was a close game with strong pitching. The Phillies were led by Owen Neal, Billie Montgomery and Robbie Turnball. Marlins were led by Stephan Paynter and Chris Ricca.
The Tigers then defeated the Giants 12-6. The Tigers were led by Ian Anderson and Luc Bell at the plate. Giants had some strong fielding by Braedon Cooke and John Dragonetti.
In YAO Rookies 7-9 year olds League action the Orioles defeated the Red Sox 12-4, the Marlins defeated the Giants 11-6 and the Phillies defeated the Tigers 13-8.
