The Nationals defeated the Orioles in YAO Baseball Babe Ruth action 10 - 5.
The Nationals got things moving in the first inning, an error resulted in one run for the Nationals in the first. It was the 3rd inning that saw the Nationals pull away for good with five runs, led by Liam McCue who doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, an error scoring a 3rd and Cam Morris singled driving in another run.
McCue was also on the pitcher's mound for the Nationals, allowing five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out seven.
Jackson Spurling led the Orioles on the pitcher's mound, lasting four innings, allowing five hits and ten runs while striking out three. Spurling also led the Orioles with three hits.
In the other Babe Ruth Division match saw the Cubs defeat the Yankees 15 - 6.
The Yankees came out hitting early in the game scoring 5 runs in the first, chasing Macaiah Furbert from the mound, Nic Martin had 3 RBIís in the first, Jordan Etamadi also added a run.
Sam Resnik came in to relieve Furbert, pitching 5 strong innings, striking out 13, walking one and no runs. Martin led the Yankees with 3 strong innings, striking out 8 and walking 3.
The Cubs chipped away at the Yankee lead, scoring 7 in the top of the 5th to put the game away. Cubs were led by Furbert at the plate and Dariyon Davis combining for 6 RBIís, Resnik contributed with 3 RBIís of his own. Jaden Malpas had a key toss out on a steal of third and played strong behind the plate.

Stowe's Saint LLouis Double Up St. Bonaventure
Braxton Stowe and his Saint Louis University Baseball teammates totaled 17 runs over the course of two games, taking care of business with 9 - 1 and 8 - 4 wins at St. Bonaventure.
Saint Louis put together a powerful offensive display in game one before taking care of business in game two.
Stowe came into the game and played First Base, he had 3 Put Outs, but did not have a turn at bat.
Stowe did not feature in the second game.

YAO Baseball League Round Up
Orioles 19 Cubs 6
The Babe Ruth Orioles must have thought they were doing the End to End walk, as Cubs pitchers struggled to find the plate.
17 Walks and 8 hits helped the Orioleís Jackson Spurlingís efforts on the Mound.
The Orioles pitcher threw 4 strong innings striking out two and walking two. The Orioles also had a strong defensive effort led by Kaelin Paynter and Cody Robinson.
Robinson also pitched in with two hits and an RBI. Matt Ingelman also contributed with two hits. The Cubs were led by Noah Simons on the mound and helping behind the plate for the first time.

In afternoon action, the Nationals fought off a comeback by the Yankees to record a 13 to 10 win.

Cubs continued their winning ways at Kindley Field as the YAO Baseball Season continued with a 13 Ė 7 win over the Nationals.
The Cubs were led by Micaiah Furbert at the plate, going 3 for 3 and on the mound striking out 6. Dariyon Davis led Cubs with 3 RBIís.
The Nationalís Cameron Morris pitched 3 strong innings, striking out 5. Shane Kruegar led the Nationals with 3 RBIís.
Game was close for 5 innings, when the Cubs broke out to score 4 runs in the top of the 6th to take the win.
Noah Simons pitched 3 strong innings for the Cubs striking out 4. The Nationals had strong performances by Cameron Morris on the mound and Jackson Burns going 3 innings, striking out five.
Cubs lead the Babe Ruth Division with 3 wins vs no losses.

Stowe & Saint Louis Win Again
Braxton Stowe and his Saint Louis University Baseball teammates has seen its share of success in Atlantic 10 play in 2018, and this game was no exception.
Saint Louis University dropped 11 runs on the La Salle Explorers as they secured the series sweep with an 11 - 1 victory.
Stowe followed up his day before Home Run performance with a pinch hitting Walk in his only at bat.
Saint Louis (28-15, 14-1 A-10) finished the series in Philadelphia in fine form with another offensive outburst. As a whole, the Saint Louis University outscored the La Salle Explorers 31-2.
