Daniel Phillips began the Battle of Boca Tournament in Florida, Phillips battled in the Men’s Open Singles Division.
On the opening day, Phillips would take on Edward Wang from the United States of America in the Round of 64, Phillips would advance with a straight sets victory 6-3, 6-2.
Phillips would return to the court for the Round of 32 against Juan Mendoza also from the United States of America. Phillips would advance again winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
