Daniel Phillips has Qualified for the Main Draw of the J1 Bradenton Tennis Tournament in Florida.
Phillips had to win three matches in the Qualifying Stage to get to the main draw and win all three he did.
In his first Qualifying match, Phillips battled Rohan Belday from the United States of America, Phillips would need a third set tie-breaker to advance 6-2, 3-6, 10-6.
Phillips would next take on the Qualifier's number-one seed, Gonzalo Zeitune from Argentina, Phillips would then advance in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
In his final qualifying match Phillips would take on Simon Mysilvec from the Czech Republic, Phillips would need another tie-breaker to advance, Phillips won the first set 6-1, but he fell by the same score in the second set, in the third set tie-breaker Phillips would find himself down 10-9, but he battled back to win 12-10, advancing to the Main Draw.
