Trey Mallory concluded representing UNC Wilmington Men's Tennis on the final day at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Regional at the Cary Tennis Park.
Mallory would compete in the Singles Consolation Draw, as well as the Doubles Main Draw.
Mallory would fall in straight sets in his Singles Consolation match, falling 7-6, 6-3 to Victor Putter from George Washington.
Mallory and Drew Broadstreet took to the court for the Doubles match against Ryhei Azuma and Spencer Whitaker from Clemson. Mallory and Broadstreet would fall in a third-set tiebreaker.
Mallory and Broadstreet took the lead winning the first set 6-3, but Azuma and Whitaker leveled the match at 1 – 1 after winning the second set 7-6. The Clemson pair would then win the tiebreaker 1 – 0.
