The MTM Open Championships continued at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts with A Division, Women’s Division, Elite B Division, B Division, and Doubles matches taking to the court.
One of the matches on the night needed a third set tie-breaker to determine a winner.
In an Elite B Division match, Nick Butterfield defeated Kyan Hands 6-4, 2-6 10-8.
Tournament number one seed Tariq Simons won his A Division opening match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 over Zach McGuire, while Trey Mallory won his opening match in straight sets 6-1, 6-0 against Vincent Boisvert.
