Daniel Phillips continued competing in the J4 Llanos de Curundu Casco Viejo Bowl Under 18 Tournament in Panama, he would have a mixed day on the court.
Phillips the number 2 Singles seed took on Dante Carlos Teramo from Argentina in their Quarter-Final battle and the pair went three sets with Phillips falling.
Phillips won the first set 6-1, but he would fall in the second set 6-2, Phillips would then fall 6-3 in the third set.
Taking to the court for the Doubles, Phillips teamed up with Sasha Rozin from Canada, the pair are ranked number one, they would take on Felipe Gallegos, and Jorge Ruiz both from Columbia in their Semi-Final match.
Phillips and Rozin advanced to the Final with a straight-sets victory 7-6, 6-2.
