Following our First Round report, more than likely the leader of the printing press will now start to follow Daniel Phillips as he continued competing in the J4 Llanos de Curundu Casco Viejo Bowl Under 18 Tournament in Panama.
Taking to the court for the Doubles, Phillips teamed up with Sasha Rozin from Canada, the pair are ranked number one, they would take on Nicolas Steden from Mexico and Dante Carlos Teramo from Argentina in their First Round match.
Phillips and Rozin advanced to the Second Round following their 6-3, 6-2 win.
Phillips would then play his Second Round Singles match against American Jai Dutta.
Phillips would advance with a straight-set victory over Dutta 6-0, 6-1.
Phillips and Rozin would be back on the court for the Doubles Quarter-Final, they would take on American pair Dutta, and Esunge Ndumbe.
Phillips and Rozin advanced to the Semi-Final, but they had to come from a set down to do so, Dutta and Ndumbe won the first set 6-4, but Phillips and Rozin won the second set 6-0, they would then win the third set tie-breaker 10-6.
