Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington Men's Tennis teammates swept all six singles matches to cruise past state rival UNC Greensboro, 6 - 1, at the UNCW Courts.
UNC Greensboro claimed the Doubles point winning at the number one and number three spots, however, Mallory teamed up with Bekhzod Rasamatov in the number two spot and they defeated Christopher Johns and Nico Grewe 6-3.
After UNC Wilmington leveled the score winning the first Singles match, Mallory was able to put them ahead 2 – 1 when he rallied to defeat UNC Greensboro’s David Flisberg in a three-setter at the number five spot.
Flisberg won the first set 6-4, but Mallory fought back to win the second set 6-1, Mallory would then close out the match winning the third set 6-2.
