Daniel Phillips was back in action competing on the Battle of Boca Tour in Florida.
Phillips took to the court for his Round of 16 match against Stefano Liokossis from Canada, the pair would battle in a three-setter.
Liokossis won the first set 6-4, but Phillips would bounce back to win the second set 6-4.
In the third set tie-breaker, Phillips would emerge victorious winning 10 – 8.
Phillips would advance to the Quarter-Finals, he was scheduled to face off against Oscar Mesquida Berg from Spain, Berg was injured in his Round of 16 match and was unable to take to the court with Phillips advancing to the Semi-Finals.
