Daniel Phillips was back in action competing in the Pre-Qualifying Survivor ATP Wildcard Event.
Phillips took on the number one seed of the Qualifiers and would fall in straight sets.
Phillips took on Canadian Liam Draxl and went down 6-2, 6-2.
Following the match, Phillips said, “It was a tough match, I felt the second set I was getting some rhythm but I kept overplaying.
