David Leader, Luke Attride-Stirling and their Adelphi University Men's Tennis teammates closed out the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule over the weekend at the Hofstra University Fall Invitational at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center in Hempstead.
The tandem of Leader and Andrew Ray highlighted the match for Adelphi University, as the pair won the Consolation Final of the "B" Doubles Bracket.
Leader and Ray won by walkover in their consolation opener against Hofstra's Yusuke Nishitani and Kian Ziari, before knocking off St. Francis College's Grant Louis and Tomas Bernardes, 7-5, and Siena College's Geovanny Mendoza and Marvin Oberli, 6-3.
In "A" Doubles, David Robres de Veciana and Attride-Stirling won in a tiebreaker over Queens College's Nicholas Volos and Hugo Evangelista in a consolation match.
