Trey Mallory and Tariq Simons began competing in the Wadadli Bowl Under 18 COTECC Tennis Tournament in Antigua & Barbuda, while Antonio Warner is playing in the Under 14 Division.
In the Opening Round Mallory who is seeded third received a Bye, Mallory is in his first tournament since an injury, Simons defeated his opponent Kai Hitomi from Japan in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to advance.
In the Second round Mallory would go up against Adam Duan from the United States of America and Duan would advance in straight sets 6-1, 6-2, while Simons defeated Oscar Lacides from Guadeloupe in a three set battle 2-6, 7-6, 6-4.
Mallory would team up with Ellis Short from the United States of America in the Doubles and the pair would advance to the Semi-Finals after winning their Quarter-Final battle 6-1, 6-4 over Oscar Jensen from Great Britain and Quoc Uy Vo from Vietnam 6-1, 6-4.
Warner advanced to the Second Round following a Straight sets victory over Justyn Raeburn from Antigua in straight sets 6-1, 6-0.
Warner teamed up with Vadeanand Resaul from Guyana in the Boy’s Doubles and they defeated Joel Dazzell and DeAndre Weeks from Antigua in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
