Bermuda continued competing in the Davis Cup Americas Group III event in San Jose, Costa Rica, Bermuda after going down in their first three matches are looking to avoid relegation from Group III.
Bermuda defeated Trinidad & Tobago in this all important encounter 2 – 1.
Gavin Manders got Bermuda off to the start they was looking for as he defeated Akiel Duke in straight sets 6-3, 6-3, this match took 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Neal Towlson then took to the court and secured the win for Bermuda as he defeated Richard Chung in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in a 1 hour and 9 minute battle.
In the doubles, Manders and Tariq Simons went to the court to take on Duke and Nabeel Majeed Mohammed, Duke and Mohammed picked up the win in a three set battle 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in a match that took 1 hour and 37 minutes.
