On Day 1 in the Open Elite Division Neal Towlson defeated Jacky Lambert in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, while Tego Bean defeated Cayla Cross in straight sets 6-0, 6-4.
The closes match of the night saw Scott Redmond defeat Christopher Weeks 6-4, 6-4 and Tariq Simons defeated Denzel Hollis 6-4, 6-3.
