Hall and Aberdeen Go Down
Adam Hall and his Aberdeen IronBirds teammates started the game with a chance to finish a road trip above .500. A rollercoaster on Coney Island featured two ties and three lead changes, with the final score capping off at 4 – 3.

The first run of the game was quite a strange one. With Anthony Dirocie on second and Hayden Senger on first, Luke Ringhofer threw a pickoff towards first. It would cause a rundown that eventually got Senger out. Meanwhile, Dirocie ran from second all the way home and scored.

J.C. Escarra lined a ball over the right field wall in the sixth inning. That scored Austin Hays who had two hits and made it 2-1 'Birds.

Carlos Cortes blasted an RBI double down the line to score Angel Manzanares in the sixth. An error plated another run and broke the tie to make it 3-2.

Three straight hits for the IronBirds changed that. They would come for Nick Horvath, Luke Ringhofer and Robbie Thorburn. Thorburn's was an RBI single to tie the game at three.

It came in the bottom of the 7th. Two hits started it off against Kevin Magee. The lefty surrendered his first run since July 12th on an RBI double for Carlos Cortes. From there the closers took care of business and Brooklyn won 4-3.

Escarra became the first IronBird to homer twice in one road trip. He now has a team high four homers on the year. Aberdeen went .500 over the six games in the City that never sleeps including a series win in Staten Island.

Hall went 1 for 3 from the plate with a Hit.
