Nine games were completed on Day 8 of the 2012 William Way Memorial Tennis Tournament going on at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium, before rain halted play.
Lindsay Fisher won her Ladies Singles match in straight sets when she defeated Eleanor Boyle 6-1, 6-3. Gavin Manders defeated David Thomas in straight sets in their Men’s Singles match 6-3, 6-4, Neal Towlson who defeated the tournament number two seed early in the tournament went down in straight sets to Sam Butler 6-4, 6-3.
