The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Masters Series 2012 Tournament concluded at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
The day’s first game in Men's Masters Open Singles saw number one seed Jenson Bascome take on unseeded David Thomas, the winner knew that they would have to play in the Finals later in the day.
Thomas won a hard fought first set 7-5, but Bascome came back to win a hard fought second set 6-4, Bascome then won the all-important third and final set 6-3 to advance to the Final.
In the Final Bascome faced off against Andrew Young, Bascome lifted the title after a straight sets win over Young 6-2, 6-4.
