The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Masters Series 2012 Tournament saw Doubles Semi-Finals action at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
In the first match Doubles number one seeds Jenson Bascome and Ricky Mallory Sr. defeated Charles Penruddocke and Len Wedlich in straight sets 6-1, 6-0.
The second Semi-Final saw the number two seeds Andy Bray and Sam Butler defeated David Thomas and Christopher Weeks in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.
Manders Advances to Championships Final
Gavin Manders has advanced to the Finals of the MAC Men’s and Women’s Spring Dollar Open Championships in New England.
Manders defeated Gerardo Villasenor without winning a set in the Men’s Open Semi-Finals.
Villasenor won the first set 7 – 6, but retired injured soon after the set, Manders found himself down 5-3 in the first set but pulled back to finish 6-6, but went down in the Tie-Breaker 7-4.
