Cooper and Sewanee Win

Led by straight-set wins at #1 through #5 singles, Alex Cooper and his University of Sewanee teammates advanced to the semifinals of the 2012 SCAC Men's Tennis Championships with a dominating 7-2 win over Colorado College.

With the win the third-seeded Sewanee improve to 13-6 on the season and advance to the Semi-Final match against second-seeded Rhodes College.

Cooper picked up wins at #4 singles and #2 doubles to lead the way for Sewanee.

Cooper defeated Robert Kasemodel 6-1, 6-1 in his number 4 Singles match-up, he then teamed up with Rand Jackson and they stormed to a 8-2 victory over Colorado’s number 2 Doubles team Will Lindsey and Jack Burger.
