Day 5 - Bacardi Seniors Round Up

Day 5 of the 2012 BACARDI Seniors Tennis Tournament saw Finals played at the Pomander Gates Tennis Club.

In the Men’s Singles 45 Final John Johnston defeated Wilfred Gonzalves in a three set marathon, 6-4, 6-7, 7-6, Gonzalves injured himself in the second set but continued the match, however he was unable to play in the Men’s Singles 35 Final, Men’s Super-Doubles Final and Men’s Singles 55 Final.

Veronica Dunkerley defeated Kathy Sun in straight sets in the Women’s Singles 35 Final 6-3, 7-6, while Roger Marshall - David Mello defeated David Hyland - Mark Melvin in their Men’s Double Final 7-6, 7-6.
