The Langton Adult Spring 2012 Tennis Tournament served off at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium with four matches completed.
Men’s Open Tournament number one seed David Thomas won his match in straight sets defeating Tanner Boyle 6-3, 6-0,
In another Men’s Open match Courtland Boyle defeated Shiloh Todd in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, while Sam Butler defeated Dion Burgess in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
In the final Men’s Open match Wilfred Gonsalves was taken to three sets before overcoming James Finnigan. Finnigan won the first set 6-4, before Gonsalves won the second set 6-0, Gonsalves then won the third and final set 6-2 to advance.
