Katherine Bean Rosario and her Leeward Islands Under-19s Women’s teammates went down by 2 runs to Guyana Under-19s Women in the West Indies Rising Stars Women's Under-19 Championship, at the Diego Martin Sporting Complex.
Guyana Under-19s Women batted first and scored 94/5 in their 20 overs, Naomi Barkoye was the top scorer with 17, and Jahzara Claxton was the pick of the Leeward Islands bowlers with figures of 4-0-26-2.
In reply Leeward Islands were bowled out for 92, Jahzara Claxton was the top scorer with 52, and Bean Rosario was out without scoring. Trisha Hardat was the pick of the Guyana bowlers with figures of 4-0-9-3.
