The First Round of the Eastern County Cup competition saw the match between the cup holders Bailey’s Bay and challengers St. David’s begin late due to rain and then it ended in a draw.
Bailey’s Bay won the toss and sent St. David’s Cricket Club to bat, they were bowled all out for 105, Brian Hall was the top scorer with 26, while Macquille Walker was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 10.2-3-24-6.
In reply, Bailey’s Bay scored 63/3, Azende Furbert was the top scorer with 17, Jonte Smith was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-6-2.
