Playing in a 40-over match, Newport scored 227/9, Noah Rice was the top scorer with 76, Kelly added 33 not out off 46 balls, he hit 3 fours. James Perrett was the pick of the Malpas bowlers with figures of 8-0-42-4.
In reply Malpas would only manage 187/8, Michael Martin was the top scorer with 56, while Taimoor Khalid was the pick of the Newport bowlers with figures of 8-2-37-3.
