The 2022 Bermuda Cricket Board 50 overs League Season saw six league matches take place, as well as the Second Round of the Western County Cup competition, and a Cup Match Trial in St. George’s, today www.islandstats.com takes a look at the week’s top performers, both locally and abroad.

Delray Rawlins’ teammate Tom Alsop equaled his highest first-class score of 150 to give Sussex the advantage on a hot day at The 1st Central County Ground.
The sun was high, and the pitch was low as Sussex piled on 407 for four against Leicestershire, the only side in the second division of the LV= Insurance County Championship still looking for their first win of the season.

BERMUDA CRICKET BOARD ATHENE T20 CRICKET LEAGUE
The Executive of the Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) is pleased to announce a partnership with Athene Life Re. as the title sponsor of the 2022 Athene T20 Men’s Cricket League.
The well-anticipated, fast-paced tournament will begin on August 7th with participation from 13 member clubs and the island’s best cricket players over a period of 12 weeks.
This will include a ‘Match of the Week’ event, chosen by the BCB’s cricket committee which will be live streamed, hosted and promoted by the clubs in the effort to increase revenue and visibility in the community.
In the Premier Division: Cleveland County, Western Stars, Somerset Cricket Club, Warwick Workmen’s Club, Southampton Rangers, St. George’s Cricket Club, and Bailey’s Bay.
In the First Division: Devonshire Recreation Club, Willow Cuts, Flatt’s Victoria, St. David’s Cricket Club, Pembroke Hamilton Club, Somerset Bridge.
