Emmerson Carrington was back in action as an onfield Umpire in the 5th Place Play-off Semi-Final match between Sri Lanka and South Africa, in the ICC Under-19 World Cup at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, in Antigua.
Carrington was on duty alongside Asif Yaqoob from Pakistan, as Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat, they would go onto win by 65 runs.
Sri Lanka would score 232/6 in their allotted 50 overs, with captain Dunith Wellalage the top scorer with 113, Kwena Maphaka was the pick of the South Africa bowlers returning figures of 10-1-60-3.
In reply South Africa were bowled out for 167, with Gerhardus Maree scoring 44, Raveen de Silva was the pick of the South Africa bowlers returning figures of 5-0-14-2.
