Somerset Seconds 311/2 Declared Sussex Seconds 97/7 – End of Play Day Two
Delray Rawlins and his Sussex Seconds teammates and Somerset Seconds drew their Second XI Championship South Group match at the Blackstone Academy Ground.
Sussex started the day at 97/7, but the tail wagged and they would reach 183 all out, EO Hooper was the top scorer with 59 not out, while JW Jenner added 54. MJ Leach leads the Somerset bowling attack with figures of 21-7-66-4, while JA Brooks has figures of 14-5-42-3.
Somerset then went back to back and when the stumps were drawn they had reached 195/4 after 47 overs. Sam Davies was their top scorer with 63.
WCHP Collard was the pick of the Sussex Seconds bowlers with figures of 7-0-36-2, while Rawlins who did not bowl in the first inning finished with figures of 7-0-29-0.
