Cleveland County Win by 4 Wickets

At St. John’s Field Cleveland County gave themselves a chance of survival from being relegated to the First Division with this 4 wicket victory over Western Stars.

With the Somerset Cricket Club – Southampton Ranger match not coming off, it will be decided by the Bermuda Cricket Board on the outcome of the match.

Western Stars could only manage 132 after they won the toss and decided to bat as Cleveland started the match with only nine players, but Damali Bell was in no mood to early as he claimed the first three wickets with only 25 runs on the board, he finished with figures of 10-3-3-20, while Stephen Bremar bowled 4.3-1-8-3 and Dennis Musson Jr. bowled 9-2-38-3. Jekon Edness and Jacobi Robinson batting at 10 and 11 were the top scores, with Robinson scoring 31 and Edness scoring 30.

In reply Treadwell Gibbons was the top scorer with 31 as Cleveland County scored 133/6, Dalin Richardson was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 6-3-9-2.


FIRST DIVISION

Somerset Bridge Win by 46 Runs

Somerset Bridge 176 PHC 130


At the PHC Stadium, Somerset Bridge were sent to bat by PHC and were bowled out for 176, Sharye Tavares was their top scorer with 54 before retiring hurt, Dev Hanuman was the pick of the PHC bowlers, he finished with figures of 10-1-21-4.

In reply PHC were bowled out for 130, Wendell Dottin was the top scorer with 31, Torleair Caines lead the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 9.1-0-40-4, while Shaun Riley added figures of 8-0-33-3.
