Kamau Leverock and his Handsworth Cricket Club teammates won their Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League Division Three match against Lichfield Cricket Club by 4 wickets.
Handsworth won the toss and elected to field, Lichfield scored 245/8 in their allotted 55 overs. Adam Braddock was their top scorer with 59, while Dwayne Crossgill was the pick of the Handsworth bowlers with figures of 12-1-45-3, while Leverock bowled 8-2-26-2.
In reply Leverock opened the inning, he scored 46 runs to help guide Handsworth to a total of 246/6 after 52.1 overs. Marvarick Perry was the top scorer with 75 not out, Lewis Peat was the pick of the Lichfield bowlers with figures of 11-0-44-2.
