Western Stars 367/5 Devonshire Recreation Club 199
The first Central County Match of the 2017 Season saw Western Stars win the toss and elect to bat, they posted 367/5 in their allotted 54 rain reduced overs.
Jaiden Manders was the top scorer with 111, Tre Manders added 86, while Brian Hall was 52 not out. Lavar Talbot was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 10-0-61-3.
In reply Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled out for 199 after 39.3 overs. Keniek Wallen was their top scorer with 47, while Oladepo Frederick added 39 and Talbot scored 34. Brian Hall led the Western Stars bowling attack with figures of 11.3-2-25-4.
Western Stars will next face the Twenty20 Plate Champions Tuff Dogs in the Second Round.
