Kamau Leverock and his Cardiff teammates resumed their inning on Day Two of their Three Day match against Delray Rawlins and his Sussex teammates.
Cardiff were dismissed for 141 to trail by 176 runs, Leverock went for 4, while Yuvraj Odedra was the team's top scorer with 44. Jofra Archer led the Sussex bowlers with figures of 14.4-2-35-5.
Leverock was at the wicket for some six minutes facing four deliveries and hitting one four before edging into the slips and was caught.
Sussex returned to bat and ended the day 207/6, a lead of 383 runs with 4 wickets remaining. Rawlins went without scoring, while Leverock finished with figures of 8-1-29-1.
