The Bermuda Cricket Board confirmed the rumors that have been floating around for a number of weeks that Bermuda it will be hosting a 3 match International Series against Canada later his month.
This reciprocal tour serves as further preparation for the National Squad prior to their departure to Los Angeles to compete in the ICC World Cricket League.
The Canadian squad arrive on Wednesday October 19th with a squad of 15 players and will play three 50 over games in their six day stay.
The games will start at 10am. The schedule is:
Friday October 21st - Bermuda v Canada @ National Stadium
Sunday October 23rd - Bermuda v Canada @ Sea Breeze Oval
Monday October 24th - Bermuda v Canada @ National Stadium
Lloyd Fray, President of the Bermuda Cricket Board said, “We are working hard to give our squad every opportunity to excel in the upcoming tournament. I am pleased that we are able to continue to work well with Cricket Canada on a bi-lateral basis to provide quality international cricket. I know that the squad members and coaching staff have been training exceptionally hard and the players will be eager to get more tough international matches under their belt.
