Bermuda Cricket Have to Answer Questions

IslandStats.com
www.islandstats.com has been reliably informed that Bermuda’s status in the ICC has changed to Development and with that has come restriction.

With Bermuda now listed as a Development Country, with that sees players eligibility, matches played and funds affected.

An issue arose recently with a Bermuda born player not allowed to play in the Bermuda National team, due to the new restriction.

The player because he lives in a Full Nation Country, would have been allowed to play for Bermuda had he played fifty percent of the domestic season or he had already played for the Bermuda at the Senior National level.

Other stipulation also apply, however the concern is the following:

What is Bermuda Status?

How long has Bermuda had this particular status?

Did the clubs know?

Who knew and why was this information not reported to the clubs?

Did the National coaching staff know, if not why?

Did the selectors know, if not why?

These are just some of the questions that need answers, the clubs and Bermuda need answers, www.islandstats.com await to see what the next move for the Bermuda Cricket Board will be.
