At the Devonshire Rec. following a five hour delay the Final Round of the 2016 Central County Cup Competition was reduced to 20 overs. Devonshire Recreation Club won the toss and elected to send Western Stars to bat, they scored 181/4 in their allotted overs, with Brian Hall showing the teams intent from the start hitting the first ball of the game for a six, he went on to score 60 off 26 deliveries, while Justin Robinson scored 54 not out. Xion Smith returned bowling figures of 4-0-26-2.
In reply Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled out for 46, Oladapo Frederick was the only Devonshire Recreation Club batsman in double figures with 17, Dalin Richardson led the Western Stars bowing attack returning figures of 4-1-15-4, while Khiry Furbert bowled 4-2-2-3.
