Delray Rawlins starred on the opening day of Sussex Second Eleven’st hree-day championship match , as he claimed six wickets as Sussex bowled out MCC Young Cricketers for 236.
After the MCC won the toss and elected to bat at the saffrons in Eastbourne, they encountered the slow left-arm of Rawlins as the 18 year-old picked up figures of 32-7-79-6.
On day two Rawlins and his teammates were bowled out for 150 with Rawlins scoring 31. Rawlins was at the crease for 101 minutes he faced 70 deliveries hitting 4 fours and 1 six.
MCC went back to bat and were dismissed for 210, with Rawlins returning figures of 17.5-1-52-3 to take his match haul to 9 wickets
