DEVONSHIRE RECREATION CLUB WIN BY 3 WICKETS

PHC 156 Devonshire Recreation Club 160/7

At the Devonshire Rec. PHC won toss and went to bat, they were bowled out for 156 in 32.5 overs, Randy Bean was the top scorer with 44, while Dell Hollis added 25. Kenny Phillips led the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 8-0-30-4.

In reply the Devonshire Recreation Club scored 160/7 in 28.1 overs, Oladapo Frederick was the top scorer with 49 not out, while Phillips added 48. Charles Trott led the PHC bowling attack with figures of 10-1-36-3, while Hollis bowled 6.1-0-26-2.

BERMUDA NATIONAL CRICKET TEAM MATCH

BERMUDA RED WIN BY 7 WICKETS

The Bermuda National Cricket Team coach split his training squad into two groups featuring a Red Team and a Blue Team in a 50 over match at Lord’s in St. David’s.

Terryn Fray the Red Team captain won the toss and sent Chris Douglas’ Blue Team to bat.

They bowled the Blue Team out for 134 after 39 overs, with the likes of Temiko Wilson, Douglas, Dion Stovell and Makai Young all back in the pavilion and the scoreboard reading 58/5, Jordan DeSilva managed to help them to a respectable score with a knock of 33 off 44 deliveries hitting 3 fours, Young had added 22 off 23 deliveries that included 2 fours and a six. Greg Maybury led the Red Team bowling attack with figures of 7-1-15-2, while Allan Douglas bowled 10-1-26-2.

In reply the Red Team scored 135/3 in 20 overs, Brian Hall was the top scorer with 54 not out, while Alex Dore added 28 before being Run Out and Macai Simmons scored 20. Young returned figures of 3-0-14-1, while Joshua Gilbert bowled 4-0-23-1.
