Tre Manders and his Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club 2nd XI teammates suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Hook & Newnham Basics Cricket Club 2nd XI in their Hampshire County Division 1 match.
Hook & Newnham Basics won the toss and elected to bat scoring 323/6 in their allotted 50 overs. Manders claimed one wicket in the 10 overs he bowled that saw him record a maiden giving up 51 runs. Manders’ wicket was a return catch off the bat of Hook & Newnham Basics opener Jack Robson.
In reply Manders and his Sarisbury Athletic Cricket Club teammates were bowled all out for 155, going down by 168 runs. Manders batting in the number three spot was one of only five batsmen to reach double figures, he scored 10.
