At Lord’s in St. David’s, the BELCO Cup Final got underway after a lengthy delay due to wet conditions, St. David’s won the toss and elected to send Bailey’s Bay to bat.
After their 30 overs St. David’s Cricket Club restricted Bailey’s Bay to 127/9, captain Rodney Trott was the top scorer with 33, he faced 56 deliveries hitting 2 fours, while Terryn Fray chipped in with 31, he faced 57 deliveries hitting 3 fours. Allan Douglas was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 6-0-22-3.
In reply St. David’s Cricket Club were bowled all out for 96, Shea Pitcher was the top scorer with 28, while Dion Stovell added 23 and Shannon Raynor scored 22. Derrick Brangman was the pick of the Bailey’s bay bowlers with figures of 5.1-2-12-3, while Nyrobi Carmichael bowled 6-0-24-3.
